Lestat Media today obtained exclusively a copy of a letter signed by the Hon Commissioner. Ministry of Community Government, Culture and Traditional Affairs in Imo state; Hon. Louis O Duru.
The Letter clearly firstly states that Governor Rochas Okorocha (Governor of Imo State) had told the royal Fathers several times to collect a levy described as the "Adult Development Levy" of three thousand naira (3,000 naira)
The letter further stresses a TARGET of 2000 adults at least from each community.
This directive further threatens to MERGE erring communities with communities that will remit the total targeted Levy, also threatening to SUSPEND the salaries of the erring community's Traditional Ruler.
